Loot Priority for DOINK Raids

Basic loot priority is as follows: Primary > Secondary > Tertiary > Others

spreadsheet link

Primary

First priority.
Only a single job can go under this category.
Doesn't need to be the same as the class you are currently playing in raid. If you're a SAM and you need to switch to BLM for raid composition reasons, for instance, SAM can still be your primary.

Secondary
Second priority.
Only a single job can go under this category.
Must be something you are willing and able to actually play in raid if needed.

Tertiary
Third priority.
Any other classes you are willing to actually play in raid upon request. For instance, if we're looking to fill a tank spot and you have DRK listed as a tertiary class, I expect to be able to call on you as an alternate--otherwise it goes under "other."

Others
Last priority.
Anything else you play.

Can I switch to a different primary/secondary later on?
Yes. Raiding core members, though, need approval from the rest of the raid first--but unless there is a good reason to reject your request, it's likely to be fine.

Can I add classes to/subtract classes from tertiary/other?
Yep! This can be done at any time and needs no outside approval.

What if two people at the same loot level both need the item?
Then a decision will be made based on the comparative item levels, BiS potential, and other factors as needed.
