FFXIV OCs

Solele Sole
Early to mid 20s. Female. Lalafell (Plainsfolk). Somewhat developed; mostly follows the canon WoL track, but there are a lot of things I've yet to fully solidify. Needs lots more meaningful CR.

A sunshine child and adventurer's adventurer of a WoL, full of energy, enthusiasm, and adrenaline addiction. The third youngest of ten siblings, hailing from from a massive family of Lalafellin hillfolk from a little-known island between Vylbrand and the South Seas. Likes people and their stories. Can't resist a request for help. Strong sense of justice. Represses negative emotions behind determined optimism, promiscuity, and situational alcoholism. A gullible and easily manipulated bleeding heart in her younger days, which in maturity has turned into a breezy roll-with-the punches attitude that chooses to believe the best of people despite knowing that they often disappoint. Did not think being a hero was going to be this hard.

Tsensen Dazkar
Late 30s to early 40s. Female. Au Ra (Xaela). One of my most developed OCs; doesn't enter the story until late ARR but mostly follows the canon WoL track after that, with occasional deviations. Has some meaningful CR but more is always welcome.

Goes by Sen in Eorzea. A proud woman of the Dazkar tribe turned WoL after losing her entire family to a skirmish with Garleans on the Doman border during the failed rebellion. Started hearing the voices of the dead shortly thereafter in a unique manifestation of the Echo. Serious, implacable, and deeply traditional; never left the Steppe until losing her family. Came to Eorzea seeking insight into the region's apparently unique ability to resist Garlean invasion. Her desire for revenge against Garlemald slowly morphed into building a new life despite herself, via her attachments to the Wayfarers, a newfound lover, and an accidental adopted son.

Anyanka Stormcloud
Early to mid 20s. Female. Hyur (Highlander). Still in early development; probably mostly follows canon WoL track. No CR to speak of.

Bitter, angry child of the Ishgardian Brume turned WoL. Traded the crushing poverty of her early life for the more cyclical poverty of a wandering theatre troupe when she was 11; troupe disbanded after the Calamity brought eternal winter to Coerthas. Formed her first actual healthy relationships after joining the Scions and subsequently the Wayfarers in her early 20s. Resentment, insecurity, and distrust mingle with strong empathy, an analytical mind, and a desire to prevent others from suffering in the same ways that she has suffered. Bewildered at the idea of herself as the hero of anyone's story, even her own; thinks of her WoL status as a role she's playing, and any day now someone will realize she's been miscast.

Jadeaux Rainger
Mid to late 20s. Male. Elezen (Duskwight). Still in early development. Relationship with one of Nil's characters but otherwise completely lacking in CR. Probably also a WoL?

A mostly-Duskwight of mixed lineage whose Echo has enabled him to hear the whispers of the Elementals since he was old enough to walk. Born in the Twelveswood to a family of scavengers and poachers on the fringes of society, Jadeaux learned the principles of conjury directly from the Elementals themselves, and was apprenticed to the Conjurer's Guild by force when a Hearer caught him stealing to survive after his family's Calamity-related deaths. Quiet, wary, and mistrustful, alienated among other Duskwights for his ties to the elementals yet jaded by his family's treatment at the hands of Gridanians.

W'vani Tilohmo
Late teens to early 20s. Male. Miqo'te (Seeker). Background and general personality are fully developed, narrative through each expansion has yet to be solidified. Has some CR but definitely needs more, especially surrounding how he got involved with the FC.

An aetherology student turned adventurer with big ambitions and an even bigger mouth. Born with a severe congenital disorder causing brittle, malformed bones, resulting in a constantly hunched appearance and various physical impairments. With an extraordinarily sharp mind and a former-WoL mother with lofty connections, he is determined to come up as a leader of men and eventual Nunh of his tribe, prejudices be damned. His strong points are people, politics, and magic, roughly in that order, and he tends to spend his free time on the hatching and execution of various insane schemes.

Adelaide Charlemont
Mid 20s to early 30s. Female. Elezen (Wildwood). Concept is solid but background + what she was actually doing during MSQ is a giant WIP. No solidified CR but some tentative ideas.

Heir to the influential Charlemont family of Gridanian high society, disinherited when she refused to cater to her grandfather's prejudiced conservatism. Sincere but naive. Approaches adventuring as an opportunity to learn, as much about herself as the world around her. Tendency toward dependency, whirlwind romances, and broken hearts--usually her own. Engaged in a constant process of trying on identities in the hope of finding a place for herself. A born patron with a zeal for stories and histories, an archaeological bent, and a fondness for fine craftsmanship.

N'tala Puhr
Early to late 20s. Female. Miqo'te (Seeker). Went from being a fun concept to a fully developed OC after ShB came out and I came up with an actual narrative for her. Definitely needs lots more CR--her profession and lifestyle make her a provocative character in multiple ways and that makes for some awkward/interesting/hilarious interactions.

An Ul'dahn prostitute whose favorite clients are adventurers. Highly empathetic and compassionate, fascinated by people with unique emotional needs and troubled relationships with intimacy. Over the course of the MSQ, she comes to have her finger on the pulse of the desert underworld, serving as informant on the clandestine activities of Ul'dah's rich and powerful and roping her into all sorts of WoL-related adventures. Though she'd never planned for a life of conspiracy and intrigue, not only is she good at it--she likes it, so long as she can fight from the bedroom rather than the battlefield. But when a strange voice beckons her to another world, she may no longer have that choice.

E'nekiba Dharu
Early to mid 30s. Male. Miqo'te (Seeker). Solid concept but no development or CR to speak of other than with Nil's matching OC. May be moving to Coeurl to make room for a char who would be a better fit for the FC and easier to play off of other non-Nil people? idk.

Former co-Nunh of the E tribe alongside E'dharu, whose name he took as surname to avoid a reversion to Tia. A summoner-scholar with abs of steel. Protective, empathetic, hides his sensitivities behind stony silence or prickly sarcasm depending on his mood. Fuckboy adventurer seeks likeminded individuals to, idk, kill monsters or whatever. He'll figure it out.
